Shell And Tube Heat Exchangers

Teccon offers three types of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers namely fixed tube sheet type, removable bundle type and U-tube type. We provide well conceived optimum designs to suit every application of heat exchange and recovery of for captive consumption and O.E. applications. The heat exchanger range includes heat transfer capacities ranging from 1000 kcal/hr to 1,000,000 kcal/hr. The heat transfer area ranges from 1 sq.m. to 500 sq.m. The materials of construction used are copper, stainless steel, mild steel, brass and cupro-nickel. All shell and tube heat exchangers conform to ASME, TEMA, IS, BS and DIN specifications.

Tube Heat Exchangers

Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers

Teccon-make Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers or S.S. Heat Exchangers find extensive use in food and pharmaceutical industries, where contamination is not tolerated. Typical applications are DM water cooling, heat transfer involving corrosive fluids etc. The materials used are SS 304, 316 and 316L. The fabrication involves a high level of precision welding using TIG welding and submerged arc welding. They are also used as on-line chillers in beverage industry for cooling the fruit juices to 2º C. The heat transfer area varies from 1 sq.m. to 100 sq.m.

Water To Water Heat Exchangers

Water To Water Heat Exchangers is essentially used for Process water cooling by cooling tower water. Wherever the contamination is very high, Teccon offers suitable designs with higher tube diameter for easier cleaning and maintenance. The designs are optimum with maximum heat transfer efficiency. The capacities vary from 500 kcal/hr to 1,000,000 kcal/hr. Teccon water to water heat exchangers are extensively used in all process chemical industries and the typical applications are furnace water cooling, DM water cooling, chilled water generation, DG set jacket water cooling and bearing cooling applications.

Air Cooled Heat Exchangers

Teccon offers their Air Cooled Heat Exchangers for lube oil and hydraulic oil cooling, especially, where water supply is scarce. The coolers are designed to handle even very high ambient air conditions (as high as 50º C). Typical applications are hydraulic power packs, refrigeration systems and transformer oil cooling. The tube and fin materials are copper, aluminium, stainless steel, brass etc.

Finned Tube Heat Exchangers

Teccon offers Finned Tube Heat Exchangers for applications that require high heat transfer area for relatively low heat transfer fluids. The advantages of using these finned tube heat exchangers are that they are compact. Our integrally finned tube heat exchangers can be used in refrigeration condensers as well as for oil cooling applications. The typical applications are for air heating, cooling. The fins are either plate fins or helically wound depending upon the quality of air and the temperature. The capacities range from 1000 kcal/hr to 1,000,000 kcal/hr.

Industrial Heat Exchangers

Teccon offers a wide range of Industrial Heat Exchangers for all types of industries, especially chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, cement and sugar. These heat exchangers are supplied as per both customers’ specifications and drawing or custom-built based on process conditions. A well equipped design team understands the customers’ need and proposes the required design for their approval. Basically, the designs conform to ASME and TEMA codes and if required, a third party inspection by leading inspectors like Bureau Veritas, DNV etc., is carried out on a stage-wise basis.

Reboiler Heat Exchanger

Teccon designs and manufactures Reboiler Heat Exchanger, especially for Process Chemical Industries with main focus on petrochemical units. These reboilers are an accessory to a distillation column, where the back liquid from the column gets reboiled and sent to the column for separation. The typical material of construction is High Carbon Steel and the design pressure is as high as 30 bar. The manufacturing is done as per ASME and TEMA standards.

Refrigeration Heat Exchangers

Teccon offers evaporators and condensers for air conditioning and Refrigeration Heat Exchangers applications. These are both air-cooled and water-cooled depending upon customers’ choice. The tonnage varies from 1 TR to 100 TR. Besides, Teccon builds their own R&AC systems. The evaporators (chillers) are essentially of shell and tube type with multi-pass construction and the material used in the construction are with high quality copper tubes. For food industries, evaporators with SS shell and baffles are used to totally eliminate contamination. The other industries served are chemical, machine tool, petrochemical, paint etc. The refrigerant are mainly of non CFC type to ensure pollution-free environments.
